who is KASA
KASA is a rapper, songwriter and producer from South London.
Everything you hear is written, produced, mixed and mastered by him. Two albums, three EPs and a run of singles so far, all self-released, all from a home studio he built himself.
On stage he does the thing most rappers do not: he performs. BoxPark Croydon, LVLS. If there is a mic and a room, he is on it.
Training

how a track gets made
1. Beat first. Built in Logic or Ableton, usually at night.
2. Words on the phone. Bars get written on the bus, in the queue, on the train under the Channel. The notes app is the notebook.
3. Vocal in the room. One mic, one take until it is the take.
4. Mix and master at the same desk. No one else touches it.
5. Cover and video. Shot on a Canon, cut at home. The Failed Expectations cover is a real mirror on a real red sofa.
That is why it says the Kreator. Not a brand word. A job description.

Christmas Karma
In April 2024 KASA was cast as a supporting actor in Christmas Karma, the musical directed by Gurinder Chadha.
His role: an office worker and vocalist on the hip-hop diss track aimed at the film's protagonist, performed alongside Doc Brown, Lady Leshurr and Leo Suter.
He got the part because the director saw him in the ACM Pass The Mic cypher. One take in a rap cypher turned into a film credit.
